Water, sanitation and hygiene

Clean water systems, latrines and hygiene education for health and dignity in underserved areas.

Our mission

We strive for a world where every community has access to clean water, basic sanitation and hygiene education. By preventing disease and promoting dignity, we help people live healthier and more resilient lives.

What we do

  • Clean drinking water

We install boreholes, rainwater harvesting and filtration units for reliable access to safe drinking water.

  • Sanitation facilities

We build and improve latrines in schools, villages and clinics, with special attention to safe, girl-friendly facilities.

  • Hygiene education

We train people in handwashing, menstrual hygiene and safe water use through schools, health facilities, women's groups and local volunteers.

  • Community ownership

We train local teams to manage and maintain their own water and sanitation facilities, so the impact lasts.

Saving lives through clean water, safe sanitation and hygiene

Access to clean water, proper sanitation and basic hygiene is not a luxury, it is a human right. In Kenya, preventable diseases caused by unsafe water and poor sanitation claim many lives every year, many of them young children. Diarrhoeal disease, cholera, typhoid and parasitic infections remain a leading cause of death in vulnerable communities.

Our programme delivers lasting solutions that improve public health and strengthen communities.

“We create lasting change: one village, one family at a time.”

What we work towards

  • Fewer waterborne diseases such as diarrhoea, cholera and typhoid
  • Better child survival and school attendance
  • Safer, more dignified environments for women and girls
  • Communities that look after their own facilities
