Education

Building and renovating schools, training teachers and supporting learners with supplies and scholarships.

Our mission

We invest in education as a powerful tool for equality, economic independence and lasting social change. We go beyond basic education and also support the training of local professionals, such as teachers, nurses, midwives, doctors and bricklayers, who build and sustain healthy communities.

What we do

  • Schools and learning spaces

We build and renovate rural schools so children learn in safe, inspiring surroundings.

  • Learning materials

From uniforms and textbooks to desks and learning kits: everything children need to attend school and stay there.

  • Inclusive education

Equal access for girls, young mothers and marginalised youth, including support to return to school.

  • Lifelong learning for women

Adult literacy and continuing education, so women can take full part in economic and social life.

  • Local professionals

Training teachers, health workers and tradespeople who help their community grow and recover.

  • Digital skills

Digital literacy and access to basic technology, so young people are ready for the future.

Knowledge that unlocks potential

Education is the foundation of sustainable development. In many communities, children, young people and women face poverty, gender inequality and a lack of schools and materials.

We work to break those barriers, regardless of gender or background. When people learn, they grow, and their communities grow with them.

What we work towards

  • More children completing primary and secondary school
  • Girls staying in school longer and delaying early marriage
  • Women gaining confidence, literacy and opportunity
  • Local professionals serving their community
