Healthcare

Mobile clinics, maternal and child care, eye care and access to essential medicine in remote areas.

Our mission

We want vulnerable communities in Kenya to have lasting access to primary healthcare. We choose sustainable, locally driven solutions, with special attention to mothers, children, people with visual impairments and people in remote areas. That is why we strengthen the local health system from the ground up, so care is available, accessible and affordable.

What we do

  • Mobile clinics

Our mobile clinics travel to remote areas where people would otherwise walk for hours or days to reach a health centre. They offer check-ups, treatment, vaccinations and referrals.

  • Maternal and child care

We support women during and after pregnancy: prenatal check-ups, safe deliveries with trained midwives, postnatal care and education on newborn health and nutrition.

  • Eye care for all

From vision screening and glasses to eye surgery: no one should be left out because of a preventable or treatable eye condition. We also support people with visual impairments to live independently.

  • Training local health workers

We train and mentor local doctors, nurses, midwives and other health professionals. This improves care and builds local capacity.

  • Health education

Through outreach, school programmes and workshops we share knowledge on hygiene, nutrition, disease prevention and reproductive health, so people can make informed choices.

Health is a human right

In many parts of Kenya, access to healthcare is far from guaranteed. A simple infection or a complication during childbirth can cost lives.

That is why we act in communities left outside basic care. Wherever you are born, everyone deserves medical help, reliable information and compassionate support.

“Let's build a healthier future together.”

What we work towards

  • More people with access to basic healthcare
  • Lower maternal and child mortality
  • Eye conditions detected and treated earlier
  • Villages growing in knowledge and self-reliance
  • New opportunities for young people in healthcare
